Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and leadership of persons with disabilities, highlighting their critical role in nation-building and a sustainable future.
Under the transformative vision of Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, the Anambra State Government is actively breaking barriers. Through the provision of cutting-edge digital tools to the Disability Rights Commission, the Solution Governor has empowered the Commission to enhance accessibility, streamline services, and foster inclusivity in decision-making processes.
The initiative, implemented by the Anambra State ICT Agency, is a cornerstone of the government’s “Everything Technology, Technology Everywhere” vision. It ensures that technology bridges gaps, enabling all citizens, including those living with disabilities, to contribute meaningfully to the state’s development.
As Barr. Chuks Ezeawuzie, Chairman of the Commission, aptly put it:
“With these tools, not only will our productivity be enhanced, but they will also enable even more persons living with disabilities to receive training and thrive in this digital age.”
This is more than just technology—it’s inclusion, empowerment, and a step toward a future where nobody is left behind.
Together, let us continue to build a society that celebrates diversity and ensures equal opportunities for all.
